1.  Praise of Shakyamuni Buddha:

In the heavens above, in all that is on earth below,
There is no one like the Buddha.
Throughout the worlds of the ten directions he is matchless.
Of all I have seen in the world,
There is nothing at all that is like the Buddha.
Homage to the Guiding Master of the Three Realms of the Saha World,
Compassionate Father of the Four Kinds of Beings, Teacher of People and Gods,
Whose transformation bodies are of three kinds, our original teacher Shakyamuni Buddha.

Namo Fundamental Teacher Shakyamuni Buddha.

There were other Buddhas in the past and in other world systems and there will be Buddhas in the future.

Living beings have the potential to cultivate and become Buddhas.

For three asamkhyeya kalpas the Buddha
cultivated blessings and wisdom,
For a hundred kalpas he perfected

marks and characteristics.

2.  Praise of Maitreya Bodhisattva:

In the past he was the immortal Wisdom Light,
His samadhi of great kindness is wonderful beyond expression.
Born in the south, in a country of adornment called sea shore,
He ascends to the Tushita heaven, and Buddha in his next life he'll be.
With perfected mind and consciousness whose brightness spans the realms of the ten directions,
The merit and virtue cultivated in his nature he simultaneously fulfilled.
Many are those who obtain rebirth in the inner courtyard,
As they assemble at the dragon-flower assembly and first receive a prediction.

3. Praise on Guan Yin Bodhisattva:

Bodhisattva Guan Shi Yin is wonderful past gratitude.
Pure and clear are her adornments, gained through practice ages long.
Sea-vast a red lotus flower fragrant rests beneath her foot.
Bay-curve of an autumn moon is in the crescent of her brows.
Everywhere and constantly, sweet dew sprinkles from her vase.
In her hand, the willow branch, through the countless autumns.
Prayers depart a thousand hearts, in a thousand hearts she answers,
Sailing the sea of suffering, crossing people over.

Namo Greatly Kind and Compassionate Bodhisattva of the Crystal land, who dwells on Potola Mountain and Observes the Sounds of the World.

4. Praise to Earth Store Bodhisattva:

Earth Store Bodhisattva wonderful beyond compare;
Gold hue'd in his transformation body he appears.
Wondrous Dharma sounds throughout the three paths and six realms.
Four births and ten kinds of beings gain his kindly grace.
His pearl shining brightly lights the way to heaven's halls;
Six-ringed golden staff shakes open wide the gates of hell.
Leads on those with causes garnered life and life again;
To bow at the nine-flowered terrace of the Honored One.

Namo Earth Store, Great vows and compassion, Bodhisattva of the dark and dismal worlds; on Nine Flower Mountain, most honored one, with ten wheels of power you rescue all the suffering ones.

5.  Praise to Amitabha Buddha:

Amitaha's body is the color of gold
The splendor of his hallmarks has no peer.
The light of his brow shines 'round a hundred worlds,
Wide as the seas are his eyes pure and clear.
Shining in his brilliance by transformation
Are countless Bodhisattvas and infnite Buddhas.
His forty-eight vows will be our liberation,
In nine lotus-stages we reach the farthest shore.

6.  Praise to Medicine Buddha:

Medicine Master Thus Come One Lapis Lazuli Light,
With his splendor blazing net, how matchlessly adorned!
Limitless practice, boundless vows, benefit all living beings.
He accords with each one's wish and never will retreat.
Namo Medicine Master Lapis Lazuli Light Thus Come One of the Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli Land.

Namo quelling disasters lengthening life Medicine Master Buddha.

Medicine Master Vaidurya Light Tathagata is the Buddha of the Land of Vaidurya Light in the East. This Buddha bestows blessings and long life on people and helps them in times of disaster and difficulty.

7.  Praise on Great Strength Bodhisattva:

His wisdom light universally illuminates, lucid and jade-like.
The three destinies get out of suffering as he crosses over sentient beings.
The light from five hundred floral platforms inter-reflect,
As he manifests a body throughout Buddha lands of the ten directions.
Walking or sitting, he quakes the great-thousand cosmos;
Atop his adorned summit, stands the flask of jeweled light.
How did he certify to such perfect penetration and self-mastery?
Pure mindfuless, constantly aware, the unsurpassed vehicle!

Homage to Great Strength Bodhisattva of Boundless bodies of blazing light, who dwells in the Western World of Ultimate Bliss.

8.  Four Heavenly Kings;

Our world is located under the first of the six heavens of the Desire Realm—the Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings. This heaven, which is directly above us, is governed by the four Heavenly Kings. It is located halfway up Mount Sumeru, which means that half of Mount Sumeru is within the human realm while the other half is above the Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings.

The parts of this heaven located on the north, south, east, and west sides of Mount Sumeru are governed by the four Heavenly Kings, as are the four continents of our world: Purvavideha to the east, Jambudvipa to the south, Aparagodaniya to the west, and Uttarakuru to the north.

"There are many heavens. The one closest to us is the Heaven of the Four Kings. It lies halfway up Mount Sumeru on the north, south, east, and west. The four heavenly kings are the Heavenly King of Increase and Growth, the Heavenly King of Learning, the Heavenly King of the Broad Eyes, and the Heavenly King Who Upholds his Country.

The lifespan of the inhabitants of the Heaven of the Four Kings is 500 years. However, fifty years among us people is equivalent to only one day and night in that heaven."

On the outside of the Jeweled Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, there is a mural of the Heavenly King Increasing of the South on the right side. On the left side of the Hall is a mural of the Heavenly King Broad Eyes of the West. In the back of the Hall, the left wall is painted with the Heavenly King Upholding the Country of the East. The right wall has a mural of the Heavenly King Much Learning of the North. These splendid and imposing twenty-foot-high murals convey the awesome and majestic bearing of the Heavenly Kings. Each one wears a golden helmet and golden armor, holds a Dharma treasure, and wears cloud shoes.

9.  Wei Tuo Bodhisattva is the great Dharma Protector in Buddhism.

A Dharma protector is one who protects the Dharma, the teachings of the Buddha and those who cultivate the Dharma. Dharma protectors are found in the realm of the Bodhisattvas, gods and spirits. It can also refer to the lay people who support the Buddha, the Buddhist teachings, and the monastic community of Buddhist monks and nuns.
